This is really cool! I wanted some silver foil for an installation I made for my office. I did a lot of prototypes trying to figure out the best way to get the texture I wanted - I didn't want it to be perfect. If you paint the size (the glue you use on the silver leaf) and get a good finish you will get a perfect silver leaf finish (not what I wanted). So if that's what you're looking for, they're good for that too! For my project I actually sprayed a very light mist onto an acrylic painted canvas, then strategically placed a silver leaf where the edges almost touched, intentionally tearing a few here and there to create a "marbled" " to achieve an effect. I am so happy with the results! Tip: When you put it down, place it where you want it, slide it off the paper, and blow on the surface to make it stick. Then pull out the paper and voila! It's that simple, air and bubbles are your friends!
