Brake Bleed & OTHER

I bought this to bleed the brakes on my Dodge Ram when I was upgrading my rotors and pads and found it so easy to use that I changed the brake fluid in my wife's car . Honda too. This really makes brake maintenance a one man job and I haven't even used the automatic fluid fill (the fluid transfer rate can be adjusted so you can stand by the reservoir and top up as needed while watching the old fluid clean ). tubes will change color to a new, clear liquid). There are tons of videos on YouTube showing people using the machine, so this is a good place to start if you're hesitant about buying a bleeder valve. Now for my favorite part of this car. Look at the picture and you will see a clear flexible plastic tube attached to a rigid plastic hose. With this setup I have had no trouble flushing the power steering systems in our vehicles and changing the oil in all of my garden maintenance vehicles. With this setup and a cheap pair of nitrile gloves, I've performed three small engine oil changes without spilling a drop or getting my hands dirty. Pour all used/dirty liquid from the Mityvac container into a suitable container and discard. Everything about this pump is high quality. The plastic parts are thick and strong while the metal parts are chrome plated and strong. To do this, you need a good compressor. I use a 25 gallon compressor and it runs nonstop while I use the bleed valve, but it runs fine and provides a decent vacuum. I don't think I would try anything less. Pancake compressors probably won't work. To recap: Easy to use Performs many emptying tasks Allows you to get the job done with little to no mess/cleanup Requires a decent compressor Plenty of videos are available showing people using the pump. Auto hydration is on but I haven't used it.
