Review on Water cooling system for Deepcool LS520 processor, white/ARGB by Stanislaw Was ᠌

Only disadvantages and no pluses, do not buy.

So. 1. Yes, right after installation, I realized that the pump needs to be set to 90-85%. Then the noise from the pump disappears instantly. It is always 90% after 55 degrees. 2. 8700k@4.8Ghz (this is slightly higher than the usual TurboBoost'a) at 50% fan speed, temperature under load is 74-84 degrees. 3. At 80-100% fan speed, the temperature is 65-74 degrees 4. Noise level ~42 dBa. at 70% fan speed. 5. 100% speed - 53dBA 6. According to the instructions in the kit . you need to mount it horizontally on the top of the case. Good luck with that. Hydrodynamic fans will not live more than 2 years in this mode of operation. They can start to "groan" in a year. With my ThermalRight SilverArrow SB-E cooler at 80% fan speed, temperatures under load were 62-65 degrees and the noise was in the region of ~35dBA. Without heavy loads, the fans on the cooler generally rotated at minimum speed and kept the idle temperature around 35. Yes, I understand that this is a high-performance "Hi-End Silent" cooler with a calculated heat sink of up to 350 watts. And probably dropsy should be compared with him for 30 thousand . Perhaps . But he is already 10 years old. And it looks like it will last another 10 years. To find fastenings on a new socket. Absolutely pointless replacement of a good cooler with a useless and noisy LSS. All for the sake of aesthetics (new white body . decided to take a white dropsy). Yes, she works. Yes, it is aesthetically - "OK". But satisfaction from the purchase - I did not experience. Hurry. disappointment. How noisy she is. I have a PC running 24/7 of which 60% of the time under 100% CPU load. My PC is now always in the "going to take off" mode. I can't even hear music from the speakers now. Rave. If you want, you can set the rotation speed to 50-60% up to 80+ degrees. It will be quieter. But I personally have never seen such temperatures with a tower cooler on my processor. And I didn't think I'd see it at all. This is the 13th or 12th series of Intel, but the 8th. A useless piece of white-painted metal. You can take for beautiful white assemblies on I3.

Pros
  • Appearance ~ "OK". Warranty (depending on the store from 3 to 5 years).
Cons
  • Very noisy LSS. Temperatures against an adequate noise background. worse than a good tower cooler. In order to achieve the results of the cooler that I replaced, I have to set the turntables to such a speed (70%+) that it is simply impossible to sit at the PC without headphones. And even in the headphones you can hear a terrible rumble. With a system load of 100% . noise is 50-53 dBa. The system block is about to take off.
