These are really pretty, well made shoes. Bought them as part of a Christmas gift for my niece for pretend play. She was so excited! Wouldn’t take them off for two days straight! Even after she busted her butt wearing them! That is my issue with these slippers, the suede at the bottom is too smooth, they become too slippery for toddlers! She was wearing them on hardwood floors and took quite the spill while "twirling.” This is something that we can fix by making grooves with a knife at the bottom, but I think maybe the shoes should come like this? Since it’s for little kids? I don’t know what is needed for an actual ballet class but for little kid pretend play, they weren’t safe. She hasn’t worn them since. She actually fell pretty hard. So while the shoes are well made, I wouldn’t recommend this if you just want them to play at home.
