Review on gofanco HDMI Extender Over IP Ethernet Kit 1080p -1 to Many: Ultimate Long-Distance HD Transmission with IR Control - Up to 395 feet (120m) by Michael Jenkins

Everything seems to be working fine so far. A receiver will be added soon to see if it still works well. I almost sent it back. Ethernet is everywhere in my house as I have several IP cameras, a dozen computers and Smart TVs and everything is connected to a wired network and has an IP address. Didn't work when first plugged in. was connected through 3 unmanaged switches. I isolated the problem as a 5 port TP-Link gigabit switch. Anyway, I connected via TP-Link, the signal didn't come through. Works great over a daisy chain of an 8-port DLINK 10/100/1000 and a 5-port and 8-port Netgear 10/100/1000 with directly attached Category 6 cable. I suspect that the signal wouldn't get through my router. I won't try UPDATE: Got a second receiver and had to run a new ethernet cable around the last switch for the second receiver. It seemed that the extra (second) load on the stream/network was causing the data to be choppy and the audio to drop out. Will keep it 4 stars. So far, any slowdown in other network traffic is imperceptible, especially for devices that only connect at a 100MB connection speed. Note. My DLINK router has indicators for each cable connection that are green for 1000Mb connections and orange for slower connection speeds. These device connections (Extender Over IP) are logged on DLINK 10/100/1000 switches in orange.
