Review on LG Ultragear 27GN95B B 4K Gaming Monitor with Adaptive Sync: Review and Features by Jimi Parkboyz

Amazing in a dark room, it needs a great GPU

Strangely, it shows up as 27G950 in the display settings, but is labeled 27G95B everywhere. I think LG must have replaced some chips due to chip shortage, but it's beautiful and amazing. I found that my graphics card can't even work at 4K resolution. I have a Pascal based Titan X and it can only play 4k at 10bit HDR at 95Hz or 8bit at 120Hz. I just ordered the EVGA 3090 RTX at list price $1919 for SKU 24G-P5-3987-KR. Can't wait to see how DLSS can help. Colors are very crisp, they're smooth as butter, but now my GPU is constantly being pushed to the limit at 4K. The anti-glare coating isn't great and if you're in a sunny room it can be difficult to see the screen. I bought mine for $775, thought it was a pretty good price all things considered. I really like it and I can upgrade it after getting the 3090 RTX. UPDATE: The 3090 RTX with DSC can drive 4k @ 144hz and that's crazy. It's just smooth oil. HDR isn't the best and needs some tweaking, but it works.
