I've tried waiting for frost and/or snow but ice looks like we won't be seeing it any time soon. easy. It fits my 2013 Honda Pilot with no problems. The magnets do an excellent job of keeping the lid in place. The only thing I want to do is make sure it's clean, otherwise pulling the magnets could scratch your car. The shutters work as they should. The kit includes mirror caps that attach to the front cap and ensure everything stays together. with storage bag. Can't wait to test more snow or ice but for now it's a good product.
