Review on Nature's Miracle Premium Clumping Corn Cob Litter: Odor-Banishing Bio-Enzymes, Dust-Free Excellence by Christina Blevins

I've used pretty much every type of natural cat litter and I think this one has a rank of around 4.5 which I think is pretty high. Can we really achieve perfection in cat litter? Hardly. I've used World's Best Cat Litter (unscented sachet with green accent) and it would be about 4.9, but most of the time it's a little over my price. What I love about Nature's Miracle is that it's lightweight and makes it easy to sift and scoop up waste with little effort (the sWheat Scoop litter I tried before was heavy and awful!). I think it has a slight odor and I would have preferred it had no odor, but it doesn't linger terribly. I think this material dries well and is an important feature for odor control. (This wheat strain was also terrible in this category.) I think nature's miracle does a good job of suppressing odors. I scoop at least once in the morning and sometimes twice a day so I don't leave the waste there forever. But it doesn't seem to contribute to the stench like some do. It clumps up pretty well and makes it easy enough to take out all the pieces without much effort. (The wheat type is terrible.) My cat likes it and hasn't complained - she can be picky, but not in this litter. He follows her outside the box, but what kind of junk doesn't follow? There is no real dust in this filler (this was an issue with the walnut I tried). A great feature is the built in handle on the bag - whatever a smart person can think of I'd love to hug. This makes it a lot easier to carry out of the garage and box up new things! World's Best gets a slightly higher rating for two reasons: it clumps slightly better because it's made from corn rather than cobs; and the light straw color makes it easy to spot blood or problems in the urine or stool. If you have an older kitten or cat prone to these issues, unscented WB may be best (Green Pack). (Flavored litter can be problematic for some UTI-prone kittens.) But I love that Nature's Miracle uses a by-product of corn (cob) and not something that someone could eat as food. I would highly recommend Nature's Miracle to cat lovers and I will continue to use it myself unless some weird reformulation occurs.
