The design is printed on faux suede, I find it very soft and comfortable. I just got them today so I can't tell you long term use but I think they fit my 2017 Nissan Sentra perfectly. I had trouble fitting the covers but only because the covers currently on my car prevent me from fitting them properly/easily. I would recommend them to everyone. Also, I chose four stars for "Transparency" because it's not too transparent (the material that rests on the back of the seat) which is perfect for me and I think the material will last.
