I wanted this to grind the metal of my cheap cast iron skillet (house) so I could give it the right seasoning quality. This matched my drill bit and did the job perfectly! Disadvantage: The piece of Styrofoam that comes between the sandpaper and the bat is crushed quite badly and torn immediately. Pros: A piece of styrofoam makes it easy, but not required. My pan is smooth now and having a great season that makes my balls slip right away (assuming my partner doesn't overheat the pan and kill the spices again. One problem at a time).
