Anyone who has owned a Dodge Ram by my year knows that mounting nuts are pure junk. They are very easy to remove and roll to a different size. They are then twisted and turned by impact drills and are very difficult to remove. If you're working on your truck, those OE nuts will probably only last twice removing a tire and that's it. I replaced all the original nuts with these and so far so good.
