Review on 🖥️ Black Aluminum Front Panel Bay Converter FP55B for 5.25-Inch to 3.5-Inch – Silverstone by Ahmed Rowe

I bought this with a Silverstone Tek GD05B HTPC case so I can use an Antec VERIS IR system that fits a 3.5" hole around to control the system remotely. 5.25" external bay opening. Sturdy, but it was a fraction of a millimeter larger, and while I was able to make it fit by sliding it in, I didn't like the look either. The aluminum grain goes in the wrong direction on this one. Horizontal, ie it didn't look right. Not only that, I couldn't get VERIS to line up the holes for mounting as there are few mounting hole options in this case. I ended up tossing this in the closet and ended up with a black Bytecc 5 $3.25 to 3.5 converter which not only fits better physically and aesthetically but has many mounting holes which allowed me to install VERIS with ease.Love the Silverstone range of HTPC cases, but it's a complete failure.
