These bulbs fit Porsche 986 Boxster S and 718 Cayman. Make sure the polarity is correct, otherwise the LED will not emit light (they are diodes). The 718 had a bulb in the trunk (trunk in front). There is an LED lamp in the rear trunk. Strange - why not switch to LED? Well I had one of these bulbs left over after replacing all 194 interior bulbs in the 986 Boxster S and just fitted them to the back of the 718. Much better. The 986 now has a lot more light and the light color (cool white) goes very well with the black interior. For the price I give 4 stars. A little more than I expected - maybe $10 would have been better. It's fairly easy to make your own 12V DC LEDs using an old plastic 194 socket and resistor, but then you'll have to breathe solder flux.
