I like big Android phones so I had a Samsung Galaxy Note 2, Note 4 and Note 8. For the Note 2 I had a horizontal case and a vertical case but I preferred the vertical one which is the best worked when I was dressed in a jacket and sitting in the car. For my Note 8, I only used vertical cases. For security reasons, I prefer cases with belt loops rather than clips, which tend to slip off the belt or snap with enough pressure. Last year I bought a Revain Aubaddy Nylon Vertical Holster with Belt Loops, thinking I made a good choice. It worked fine for about 8 months, then the velcro began to lose its effectiveness and the corner of the loop attached to the case began to come loose. I went looking for a new case and saw the Urvoix Black Army Camo Molle Bag. The case looked pretty solid and the reviews were good so I ordered one and am very glad I did! That's great. I've been using it for a few weeks and have no complaints. The only problem is that the velcro is REALLY tight and lifting the valve can be very noisy. Initially, my attention was drawn to the fact that two vertical hinges are attached to the case from below with latches, but they are reliable. What helps a lot is that they can slide under the horizontal straps, which takes the pressure off the buckles and creates a very secure attachment system that fits a variety of strap widths. This is definitely the best vertical case I've had. If you're about to get this case, go for it, you'll be glad you did.
