Review on Headlight Bulbs CanBus AUXITO Conversion by Michael Schafer

Please Note: I installed them on a 2019 Subaru Impreza Sport. Sport does NOT use High Beam (9005) for DRL. If your Impreza uses Hi-Beams for DRL, you may experience flicker and you will need to install a ballast resistor. I used them in my distant rays. They work very well and are very bright with no unusual focus or hotspots. I highly recommend them. A significant improvement over OEM halogen bulbs. Brilliant white without a strong bluish cast, exactly what I was looking for. The bulbs themselves make a well-made impression. The only items I used were 4 zip ties to secure the modules. I didn't have to use extra o-rings or an allen wrench to change the orientation of the chip. Installation was easy, but I had to use a Torx T25 to slightly loosen the three screws around the lamp bracket (see photo). On the driver's side you will need to slide back the washer filler neck to access the bulb and screws. On the passenger side, the inlet mounted above the grille in the airbox must be removed to gain access to the lamp. Two plastic snaps to remove, then it is very easy to remove. After removing the floor lamp; Loosen the three Torx screws (T25) around the lamp hole about one turn. Install the LED bulbs according to the instructions, then carefully tighten the screws. This was very easy after finding out that the LED bulb wouldn't snap into place until I did. The procedure is very simple and worth the effort. Quick update: Today I drove to work on a very dark country road. Wow, they are super bright! Really illuminate the road from a distance as well as the roadside. Very even light, no hot spots or dark cavities. Very impressive
