Review on BFGoodrich g-Force Stud 245/45 R17 99Q winter by Adam Kulesza ᠌

Good quality product, the price is commensurate with the quality.

Although many sources state that tires begin to darken at a temperature of -20 degrees Fahrenheit, I never saw this phenomenon in my own experience (granted, my tires are licensed and date from 2022, so they may be better adapted to the extreme cold). A water pipe burst not far from the parking lot one bitterly cold winter night, plunging the vehicles parked there into a snow-ice slurry that reached nearly to their thresholds and left them there all night. The parking lot is covered in a thick layer of ice when I get at work in the morning, and by the time I make it to my car (a Toyota Camry V6), the snow and water underneath have melted and are almost to the door's threshold. There's nothing to do at the office, so I sit down and try to get out of here by driving forward and backward until I break a rut and leave. Later that night, I overheard several of my parking lot neighbors saying that everyone had departed except for the drivers of jeeps and a few low cars. When I checked the spikes afterward, I saw that I still had all of them. They rowed well before the winter increase, yet the roar was comparable to that of a bomber taking off. For me, Hooters is a perfect fit, but that's a call you have to make.

Pros
  • Leave on these tires all during the cold season! They have fantastic aesthetics, their spikes don't fall out, they row in the snow as much as splashes fly, they're silent on the road, they're soft and predictable on ice, and they have outstanding traction and stopping power.
Cons
  • No! Those who found the tires noisy should try out the Nord Master.
