This dress is made of a cheaper looking/feeling velour type material. The cut is a little more snug than I had been expecting and it is very clingy and had a lot of static when I tried it on. There is a cut up the back of the skirt that is pretty cute and the front and back of the top of the dress has a deep v-cut so you will need a bra that works with that. I disliked how the seam under the breasts kept creeping up onto my breasts instead of staying underneath. I ended up giving this dress to my daughter who usually wears a medium in women’s clothing, and it is a bit large on her but it looks much better on her than on me. I’d say try one size up if you want to get this dress. She has paired it with black doc martens, a black pleather jacket and a black corset type belt and it looks really nice on her, the wine red color is really nice and from afar the material doesn’t look too thin- I just don’t like how thin it looks closer up.
