Review on BERKUT Specialist JSL-20000 grey/black by Stanislaw Siwak ᠌

A completely ordinary product, nothing remarkable.

I have a 13 year old Peugeot 207 with a robot, but it is already very smart and you can’t start it with 11 volts. And the 6 year old Citroen c-elysee, after several unsuccessful attempts, he went into energy saving mode and even turned off all the lights on the dashboard. The ROM has a boost button that should give voltage for 30 seconds, but 30 seconds is not enough for the robot, if there were power surges or the car sensed a dead battery, it will re-calibrate the clutch for 1.5 minutes and all this time you need a voltage above 12 V, but better 12.5 V, only then the starter spins. So even newer versions of these ROMs from Berkut will not help matters. Modern cars do not want to turn the engine with a dead battery, because. they are already filled in the tables when it can start and when it can’t, so it either turns the starter and starts, or doesn’t turn at all. And if the starter is turned on for a long time and it does not start, a lot of gasoline will be poured into the combustion chambers, some of the valves in the engine are closed and this gasoline will not evaporate, but will slowly and surely seep through the pistons down into the oil in the oil pan, thereby diluting it . So, soon all manufacturers will come to the point not to turn the starter with a dead battery.

Pros
  • Looks like quality.
Cons
  • voltage maximum 12V, and when a little discharged 11 kopecks. A cunning modern car does not perceive this as the voltage of a normal battery, so it would not start. This is only for cars with simple control systems - VAZ, cheap Koreans and Japanese, and old cars.
