This bookshelf was easy and dare I say it was fun to put together. The completion of the project was very satisfactory. Finished shelves can hold many books. You will definitely want to download it from the lower shelves first. We tried it because we didn't know where we would keep it in our house. But in the end there were more books on the upper shelves than on the lower ones, causing the shelf to tip forward. (The adult immediately placed the books on the shelves and caught the block, so no one was hurt and nothing, just a few fallen books.) However, once we decided on the final spot, we installed the tips that came with the kit. and everything has been fine ever since. The overall look of the tree is very fun, and it's easy to get books out, even when they're at the bottom of the stack.
