I have used this shampoo for years and love it. It is not a moisturizing shampoo but silver/white hair tends to be dry to start with so a moisturizing conditioner is a wise add-on. Thankful to find this still available on Walmart since it is no longer sold in stores. I used an alternate purple shampoo several years ago and it literally gave my white hair a purple cast, unlike Jhirmack which does not. Also, it has a pleasant light smell.

Of all the Purple (grey hair) shampoos I have tried, this one is the best. It gets my hair perfectly clean and rinses out well. I also use the matching conditioner occasionally. I like the way it makes my gray/white hair a little silvery. It takes me so long to use up products like this that they often have stopped making them--or changed them for the worse. Hope this one sticks around for a while longer.

Two bottles of shampoo were wrapped together in a box and one of the covers was broke. The broken bottle leaked all over the other bottle and the box. I managed to save half the bottle and put a different cap on it. The shampoo that was left works well.

I have used this shampoo when I lived in Texas but I guess they stopped making it and I could no longer get it. Now I found it on Walmart, I was so glad. Leaves my hair just like i like it. I hope they don’t discontinue it.

I haven't yet tried the actual product, I was very disturbed to open my my package (came quickly) and find that the caps on a 3 bottles were so loose that a large portion of the product leaked out everywhere.

With a full head of white hair, this product seemed like a good bet. Fairly priced. I've used it for several years and am pleased with it. Very hard to find in local drugstores or supermarkets, however, so online is the best route for me.

Tried a dab before rejecting this product. Makes a mess and leaves hair stiff. Three bottles arrived --one was unscrewed and dumped the purple goo all over and two were not securely screwed and leaked. A poor product and unpleasant experience when requesting a refund. Vendor insisted on a return of the mess and UPS has not picked it up as box shows the leak.

My sister introduced me to purple shampoo. I looked online for reviews and this shampoo came in 2nd for Gray hair. I chose it because #1 had conditioner and I did not want it. When I pulled product up I became skeptical since price was less than half some of the others I looked at. Went for it and my wife says it does look better and for me the shampoo does not make my scalp itch like my last shampoo.

I bought four shampoos and ended up with two shampoos and two conditioners. I assumed the mistake was mine so I didn’t take any action. Now I see that I ordered correctly. Live and learn. Beyond that, though, I have used and loved this shampoo for many years. It’s just not easy to find in stores.
