Cute TINY glowing star for wood: Maybe someone with tiny elven hands in the elven oval office used a tiny ruler to measure this, but this is sold as a 9 inch star. Fake News. It's only 7.5" - I'm replacing my old 9" star and the size is proportional to my 7.5 foot tree and decorations. I send photos with a standard ruler as evidence. Nowhere on Kurt Adler's packaging does it say 9 inches, except on the Amazon store label. 7.5 inches just doesn't fit. Not sure if it was mislabeled but will contact the store to see if they actually have 9 inches. Returned just because size and truth matter. Additional info: The new 7.5" chainring has green wiring inside while my old version was white. It would still be a simple, reliable, one-star lighted topper if the campaign was done right.
