I connected it with wires to a 13.2V lithium battery (during testing) with an output of 100A. Switched on and perfectly loaded with small loads. I would not run a 900w microwave as my jackety 1000 works fine. Went to error within 2 seconds. If it's less power, then be honest. I can design a power system with all the parameters I need. Here is the response I received from the company. "This inverter is really 1200W, it has overload protection, when the load reaches 1201-1300W, please read the manual. A microwave oven has tremendous starting power, typically more than double its rated power when it ramps up. Our inverter will output an OL code when the load exceeds 1200W. The description also says 2400 watts peak. The description also indicates an overload of 1300 watts. You can't do both! This is too expensive for an inverter with 1200-1300W real pulse power.
