I had a pickup truck that I loved for many years and my friends would always ask to borrow it when they needed to move a fridge, washing machine, etc. Friend with truck". Right now my main car is a Prius which I love for the fuel economy, but it's not so good when I have something else to carry besides me and my girlfriend. So I'm going to borrow an old one now Suburban from my buddy Mike. When I do that, I always fill it up with gas. I take it to the car wash every once in a while. Well, I made it even better this time. I fixed his tailgate. I'll admit, it was a bit selfish because I hated sticking something in there to hold it open at boot or using a 2x4 to try and hold it open.I bought this set of replacement posts and just used a flathead screwdriver ( and the same 2x4 I've propped it up with before (though you can just ask a friend to hold the sunroof open) I replaced both of them in less than two minutes. I just posted on YouTube "Replace the Suburban Racks" looked and me watched the first video but to be honest it wasn't really necessary although it confirmed my suspicion that I was doing it right. Thank you for making me a best friend. . Super reasonable price for what appears to be a very durable product that should last another ten to fifteen years.
