These gorgeous spoons. They look the same as in the photo. Although the bottom isn't flat they still lay flat as they are balanced end to end when you need to set them up to avoid spills. Wash them well before use. I asked the company what caliber was stainless steel and they said it was 430 which is commonly used for kitchen utensils and which we personally prefer due to the purity of the metal. We especially like the extra-long spoons that fit in glasses, as well as the tablespoon and 1/2 tablespoon. No more guesswork. Excellent customer service from Spring Chef if you have any questions.
