THE FITTING AND INSTALLATION WAS PERFECT FOR MY 2007 CHEVY TAHOE. BETTER THAN SPENDING >$500 AT ANY SELLER OR STORE. I DON'T EVEN NEED TO CHANGE THE COLOR OF THE COVER AS IT WAS BRILLIANT BLACK.

This is easy to install. I found a video on u-tube that helped me prepare for work. Took half an hour with my son. The only problem is that the glass wobbles a bit. Since it's the passenger side, it doesn't bother me that much, but it would bother me more on the driver's side.

mirror has been replaced and does not hold memory; I found it bad when I swap the 2nd mirror, same thing. Adjust the mirror all the way up and down when unlocking the vehicle with the remote control. I've tried resetting the memory multiple times. The same didn't matter if you folded/unfolded every time the remote mirror unlock was triggered.

Waste of money, doesn't store memories so every time you start your car your mirror is in a different position and wobbles like crazy as you drive down the road to top it off , they make a terrible deer whistle so everyone can hear you 1/2 mile away, even at a speed of 30 miles per hour. READ the reviews and don't be an idiot like me!

Great buy for the price. Works great and looks 99% like it came from the factory. There is only one disadvantage. The factory mirror is a signal light with a solid arrow and the seatback is LED dots that are much brighter than the factory mirrors and will illuminate your passenger's face at night with the window down. Plus, it works just as well as a factory mirror and you don't have to pay $400 or more.

Installation went smoothly. All power options work fine and it fits my 07 Suburban with no issues. I removed the back cover from my previous mirror and draped it over here so no one will ever know it's a replacement. However, if I park for more than an hour, the mirror lowers. I only have to press a button to turn it back on so I can see, but it's annoying.

This mirror is not made by Dorman, it is a cheap counterfeit with a Dorman part number. Stumbled over a bump and the mirror wobbles in all directions. Also, they whistle at more than 10 miles. I had a hard time replacing the old mirror caps with new ones. I had to cut off the inside corners of the caps as the new mirrors have narrow slots. I paid someone to install both mirrors. Removing them cost me about as much as I paid for both mirrors so I'm sticking with them for now.

I was a bit picky, wanted to keep the same external turn signals and blind spot detector. I found that if I disassembled and used the mirror adjust motor from the original unit, the mirror and adjuster would fit into the new housing with the new motor and outer frame. You have to use the original wiring harness and remove the new one and also remove the new mirror adjuster but with one small problem I have a new assembly with all the functionality of the old one.
