Great, but a few missteps.

This Raspberry Pi UPS power supply works great. This way you can run your Pi with a pair of 18650s and charge [healthy] batteries without them exploding. It's usually easy to install. The hardest part of the installation is attaching the nuts to the metal studs on top of the Pi. You may need electric/small wrenches, but if you're careful you can do this with your thumb and forefinger. If I had to complain about anything, I would probably complain that the power button isn't as reliable as I'd like it to be. If you are working with a hat display, you may need to hold down the power button to turn off the device completely. A real power toggle switch with a button to check battery charge would be much better in my opinion. Also, after installing the plexiglass screen, it's quite a hassle to change the batteries. Only four screws are required to remove the plexiglass screen, but you will not take 2 minutes to change batteries and care must be taken not to lose these screws. Other than that, this item is awesome! I recommend it as value for money due to the portability and convenience it offers.

Pros
  • High Efficiency: The boost converter module has a high conversion efficiency of up to 98%. (The higher the input voltage, the higher the efficiency)
