Description of 🔌 MakerHawk USB DC-DC Voltage Buck Regulator Step Down Power Supply Module - 9V 12V 24V to 5V Dual USB Output - Buck Voltage Board 3A, 6-26V, Car Charge Charging Regulator (4pcs)

The input voltage range of mobile power supply boost module is DC6V-26V, output voltage range is DC5.2V, and output current range is 3A. Wide Application: DC-DC step down voltage converter module compatible with many phone models, such as Android series, iPhone series, Huawei, Millet, Nokia. High Efficiency: The boost converter module is with high conversion efficiency up to 98%. (The higher the input voltage, the higher the efficiency). Note 1: positive and negative can not be reversed, and the input voltage can not exceed 26V, otherwise it will lead to chip damage! Note 2: When working in power, you can not touch the circuit board on the sampling resistor, IC pin, otherwise it may lead to damage to the output voltage of the device!. Strong After-sales Service Team: As long as you have any questions about the product, we will resolve your issue immediately if received your email, your satisfactory purchase experience is our greatest hope! WILL NOT WORK with Raspberry Pi 4!

I bought this UPS for my Raspberry Pi 4 to keep my 2.5" external hard drive from spinning during a power outage. It handles the Pi's current demands for about a day and runs great on both 5V 4A microUSB and battery. The issue only occurs once a day, but it's annoying: It randomly turns off a few hours after the batteries show full charge on the onboard LED display. When I turn off the device, the LED indicator turns off. When I plug it back in, the LEDs say the batteries are low. Disconnect…

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • No instructions

I've used several of these in various projects and portable power supplies and they work great and charge very quickly. Keep in mind that if you don't use a heavy-duty charging cable, it may not charge very quickly, or if you don't supply enough power to the module. In my experience they work fine at 12 volts, but they work even better at 20 or 24 volts if you have a good 5 amp RMS power supply behind them. But you have to try the different cables you have and plug a booster probe into the…

Great, but a few missteps.

This Raspberry Pi UPS power supply works great. This way you can run your Pi with a pair of 18650s and charge [healthy] batteries without them exploding. It's usually easy to install. The hardest part of the installation is attaching the nuts to the metal studs on top of the Pi. You may need electric/small wrenches, but if you're careful you can do this with your thumb and forefinger. If I had to complain about anything, I would probably complain that the power button isn't as reliable as I'd…

Neat small converter

Sooo good so far. Please note that I bought the USB STEP DOWN model and it works great. I only wanted one, but four for the price of one theft. They feel robust and have good contact surfaces. I was able to solder the XT60 to one pad and a fat jumper to the other. I'm pretty sure three amps will be shared when used with two devices, so 1.5 amps per USB port. So far I have tested it with different voltages of 11.1 3S (lithium ion), 12-14V (lead acid), 18V drill battery and it has worked with all

Pros
  • Note 1: Positive and negative cannot be interchanged, and the input voltage must not exceed 26V, otherwise the chip will be damaged! Note 2: When working with electricity, do not touch the circuit board on the sense resistor, IC pin, otherwise it may damage the device output voltage!
Cons
  • Only available in black
