Inexpensive, quick and easy do-it-yourself upgrade. Good quality pedals.

Inexpensive, quick and easy do-it-yourself retrofit. The accelerator pedal simply slips over the existing plastic pedal, however the OEM brake pedal rubber pad must be removed to install the replacement brake pedal pad. Take your time with the installation and make sure the rubber tabs on the back of the replacement pads are at the back and grip the pedal rather than snagging underneath. I agree with other reviewers that the dead pedal was difficult to install. I broke the original dead pedal trying to get it loose because I didn't realize that in addition to a couple of pin connectors, there was a tab hidden under the kick plate that held the left side of the dead pedal in place. Ideally, the footplate should be removed to facilitate the installation of the replacement pedal, but alternatively you can use 6" drywall or putty knife to get the tab in place. It is not necessary to tuck the eyelet behind the kick bar, this makes for a cleaner, more secure dead pedal installation. Timed I installed the replacement gas and brake pedal pads in about 5 minutes, but it took another 20-25 to complete to install the dead pedal minutes. The quality of the pedal pads is good and there is enough rubber on the pads in contact with the shoe to prevent foot slippage.
