UPDATE: It still works very well and sheds a lot of moisture. There was a problem with the power button. It was definitely a failure of the company. When it's night and you need to adjust the humidity or turn it off, you need to turn on the light to see where you're pressing. Even when the water runs out, the power button will flash. But you really can't turn it off. You need to add more water, which sometimes just isn't possible at the moment. You really have to do it with a button that you REALLY FEEL. This humidifier would be perfect if they had one. I just received this humidifier and I have to say I am very happy with it. I like that you can fill it up. I use a plant watering can for filling. It's quiet here, but the best thing is that I can turn off the light. I didn't get it the first night and actually turned the humidifier off because the blue light was so bright. But if you press and hold the button for 3 seconds, the light will turn off and the humidifier will keep working. This was the first humidifier I've had where I could actually turn the light off. My only downside is that I want the button to be tactile so you can actually feel it when you press it. Otherwise, I am very satisfied.
