This decoupling kit made my winch setup look as professional and functional as I could have imagined. The crimp contacts were perfectly sized for stranded #6 wire, and with a little attention to wire polarity and the help of some medium-sized needle nose pliers, the contacts fit right into the housings with no drama, hate, or resentment. I crimped the contacts with a hydraulic crimping tool first with a #4 die and then with a #6 die. You can easily attach the trunk connectors after the pins are crimped and inserted into the connector body, but note that the boots will not fit if you reverse them. I would only be glad if the guys could add an extra contact in case of a failed crimp, but other than that I'm very happy with the value of my purchase. I could buy an extra RV battery kit.
