Well I've never had a glass cooktop until a month or two ago I moved to a new place (for myself) and like an idiot started using my favorite iron skillet on it. It wasn't until a few weeks later that it occurred to me that perhaps I should have found out what cookware works with a glass cooker, and came to it too late, for a number of reasons, that I should never use an iron skillet. A burner I used (fortunately) had significant burns on the crust. So I figured I'm not the first person to ever do this and I searched for a solution and decided to give this a try. Well, it took about half an hour with the included cleaner and cleaner, but it worked. All but a few very small spots are gone and I can run my hand over the glass and it becomes smooth again. The most important thing is that when I undress, whoever gets this stove after me has no idea what happened.
