Overpriced plastic that's a little more durable than cardboard
If they're about a quarter the price, they could be used. Ultimately, they are not very durable. They rely on tabs in the plastic to hook into slots in the plastic of the box above when stacking. Some of these protrusions are easily torn off during assembly. Once assembled and attached, they tend to be ok with gentle handling and use. I would caution against using them with those not intending to handle kid gloves as it is likely to be a costly mistake. Also, I wear a size 12 and had to struggle with multiple shoes to fit them. Some boots just can't be tucked in.
