A bit dry but overall satisfied.

Edited 1/24/17: After using it for a few weeks, I have to say I've noticed an unexpected benefit: I rarely eat sugar or desserts, but when I do, they leave a mark always tracks. coarse-grained film on the teeth, which sometimes does not go away even with my electric toothbrush after brushing several times. I don't feel any graininess at all, so I'm assuming it's actually polished, although it wasn't felt before. I also think that instead of a flat cosmetic spatula which is more suited to creams, they should consider putting in an actual cosmetic spoon/scoop. The powder isn't silky, so it falls off a bit awkwardly, and the flat spatula doesn't hold anything, causing more chaos than anything else. A shovel would be much more efficient. I was looking for a more expensive toothpowder, but I liked this one better because if it has to have a sweetener (which it sort of does), I'd prefer Stevia to Xylitol (although xylitol is said to be good for your health). ). Yes, I have to admit that this is a more time consuming process than just brushing my teeth, but I really don't mind and now that I've completed the process, it doesn't take much longer at all. I had to experiment a bit to find out how I like it best/if I can mix it more easily; I find it a bit harsh to use one, so I wet the brush, apply a thin coat of toothpaste (also natural), then dip the brush directly into the powder (from the secondary shell, not the jar itself) and get it really stuck. (I usually use this with an electric toothbrush and it's kind of less messy for me than a manual one.) I have to add more water once I've spread it over all my teeth because it just sucks moisture right out of my mouth. and it feels like brushing clean dirt - I can't even get my lips back to my teeth because they're so dry (they get stuck frankly like Fire Marshal Bill). In addition, this method is still the only way to rinse your mouth, apart from brushing your teeth twice. When I tried it alone, I gargled and gargled and still couldn't get rid of it. (Rinsing my mouth instead of plain water somehow helped.) In just 3 days (using only once a day) I saw a slight lightening, but I wasn't expecting or needing anything drastic, so I'm happy. I didn't feel like my teeth were smoother/polished than usual, but I've used an electric toothbrush my entire adult life, so they probably aren't getting much smoother. I also don't get any of the amazing "freshness" people talk about, but then again, my electric toothbrush is pretty much a bee's knee, so I wasn't expecting that either, but I was hoping for a little more minty. hey. (I have peppermint.) It doesn't taste great, but it's quite bearable, and I didn't realize the sweetness was overwhelming like some people say. (Full disclosure: I avoided having this go all over my mouth/tongue so it wouldn't affect all my taste buds, so I may be missing that aspect.) If you can tolerate the use of baking soda, you should be more is good about it. (It's the same *crazy*, just in a different, more enjoyable flavor, if that makes sense). water) and that it dries out my lips and corners of the mouth, which are already sensitive and don't tolerate conventional toothpaste (that's why I tried it).
