Further investigation revealed that the inner wire was slightly bent in two specific places, preventing it from functioning properly. Both exceeded the standard 5 or 6 foot length of most of these cables. I received a refund and threw the item away after trying to figure out a way to use it for something. My choke has since been completed using PE tubing and picture hanging wire (55 pounds)! A little oil in the pipe and you're done.
