They definitely smell pretty strong but I like the minty scent. My kids don't mind either. They are very easy to carry in the car or in your pocket. The only thing I don't like about them is that they tend to leave your hands a little oily when you're done. I always wash my hands when I'm done, especially when I want to eat something. I usually use one sling for my two babies. They seem to repel mosquitoes pretty well if you cover all your legs/arms with them. IMO is a great natural option for toxic sprays.
