Review on UST Compass Backpacking Emergency Survival by Ronald Orear

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Point south, not north!

If I could put a zero, I would. I should have read the other reviews. It points south first, not north. Second, the tip of the arrow isn't colored green or red, so it looks like someone forgot to color it. Inside the magnifying glass is a bubble that you need to lift above the paper to work. I figured it could stay flat and grow as it's meant to be used on a paper map for navigation. The compass floats freely in the air and not in the liquid, which I personally don't like due to the intended use. I haven't tested the scale's accuracy, but I think you get what you pay for at just under $7. It shouldn't cost more than $1 for all of his releases!
