9/32 vs 5/8 good for hardware
The sketch currently shown as the Revain product photo (see my own image) is exactly what I received - spindle 9/32 is the largest , this one fits . The product name ("9/32" and 5/16") is contradictory and incorrect. It worked for me, as reviewers have pointed out, and 9/32 was exactly what I needed. Actually, it was "It's a close 9/32. Using a digital caliper, my spindle showed a rather small 9/32. Still, the spindle had to be hammered into the bushing. It was good, the metal was soft. After a few taps in and out I had a good fit.The latch itself is well designed and made and works smoothly.Would buy again.
