This is my first drone purchase and I will return to Altair when I'm ready to upgrade! The drone is very durable considering its light weight. I've had a few falls while learning to ride it and it still looks brand new with no obvious scratches. I had to remove the Otterbox case from my phone to fit the phone slot on the remote. It would be great if the remote could be redesigned to work with phones with protective cases as some users may be in an area where extra phone protection is needed. My only other complaint is that the manual may have been written by a non-native English speaker. I'm having trouble understanding how to use the crop feature. The drone drifts slightly in flight (even in a quiet room). Using a Wi-Fi phone connected to the aircraft seems to be the only way to enable and disable video recording functionality for this device. Otherwise I am very happy with my purchase and would recommend this AA108 module to other budding drone pilots. . Bonus: I live about an hour from their Lincoln, Nebraska office. I would love to visit them one day when they have a showroom in their office! Another suggestion I could use myself. Due to a trim/drift issue the drone abandoned me and I had to use the emergency landing function when the out of range warning sounded. The emergency landing worked great, but it took me a while to find the drone in my field. In such a situation, a little orange color on the device will help. I'll be practicing indoors for a while longer until I get the hang of it.
