It was about the same amount of money just to buy this new unit as it was to try and fix the one I have. From the outside it looks neat, the lid has been removed, the interior details are fine, nothing is dangling. We'll see how long it lasts in the car. Delivered 2/11/2019 Distributor failed on 6/1/2019, I tested the pickup coil and main coil, swapped the HEI modules, everything tested fine, the machine worked for 45 seconds and shut off when it just felt electric. I ordered a different distributor from a different manufacturer and the car ran fine. I sent a warranty request for this one and after 3 days they sent me a new distributor under warranty. I keep the spare in the trunk. These guys show 2 year warranty on their site. AC delco or something else that claims to be made in the USA only has a 1 year warranty and costs 3 times what they do. Maybe mine just had a bad one, but they quickly honored their warranty.
