Gosh, to use this apple slicer I had to use all my muscles to push it. I couldn't even do it at the counter level. I had to lower it to the ground with a cutting board underneath and then use my weight to push the apple slicer into the apple. The photo shows that it didn't cut through to the end. I tried to go through several times but it didn't complete the work. I should think twice about this slicer. I didn't like how uncomfortable it was to use. It's quite difficult to use your weight and muscle and still balance the apple so it doesn't tip over while you're trying to slice it. I ended up having to pull the apple slices out of the slicer to get them out. This product was very difficult to use. Not recommended.
