Update: The included mSATA SSD had problems and had to be replaced. Luckily, the board is 2.5" SSD compatible and installing the new drive was fairly easy, although I had to use my own mounting screws. I also upgraded the RAM to 8GB as I didn't want to risk any issues with that as it's not a well known brand. After I installed the spare parts, the machine booted up with no problems. The first impression after using the Q330G4 for a few days was very good. I bought this as a relatively cheap pfSense installation solution with AES support and 4 gigabit ethernet ports. Installing pfSense via a USB flash drive couldn't be simpler and the performance I've seen has been very good too. I love that this box is upgradeable, although the 32GB SSD and 4GB RAM is more than enough for a simple install. I could buy a slightly cheaper box that would suit my needs, but I wanted something that was more future-proof and expandable. The most demanding thing I do with the Q330G4 is running pfBlockerNG for DNS filtering as I bought it to replace my RaspberryPi with PiHole. So far it does an excellent job of filtering with scheduled domain list updates. For small to medium-sized networks, I definitely recommend trying the Q330G4.
