What if you find out you bought this because you thought it would come with more than one needle like everyone else on the market, don't count on it. Even if you think this is easy to set up as a flat binder, don't hold your breath. The only thing that is better is that the spool cannot snag. But so that the thread enters the central hole where the needle shank is placed. Then you might have to disassemble the thing to thread it through the hole. Because it's not possible with a full roll in a booklet maker. Also, there is no way to prevent the spool from unfolding too easily like the other tow bar types. Instead I had to make some thin washers between the spool and the frame of the tool and then drive a screw in. In my opinion, this all needs to be recreated to be considered a fully functional tool. But now to find out what type or version of needles I need to order to get the ones that fit this sewing machine. I have ordered 2 replacement needles for a #8 sewing awl but the shank doesn't seem to be as thick as this or the flat stapler I currently have so I need to find out which company actually makes the needles for these tools. Literally! Do manufacturing companies that make fakes for fakes not learn real tools before trying to make a quick buck? Heck I would at least make it work a little better than the real ones because while the fakes might break faster that would be fine because the prices would be cheap enough to keep buying than the so-called quality tools. which lacks functionality.
