Review on 🍸 Protect Your Surfaces in Style with Thirstystone Multicolor Stoneware Coasters (Set of 4) by Omar Alradwan

I really like their design. However, there is one major downside. The surface is varnished - as a glossy, fully sealed varnish. This completely defeats the purpose of using absorbent sandstone. Water just accumulates at the top and is not absorbed at all. I've considered gently sanding the surface with a wire brush to make tiny holes in the paint down to the sandstone, but I'm afraid I might ruin the picture or the stone. Seems like they can fix it in production by drawing at a lower resolution I think? Anyway, I still like them, but they really do look more like bathroom tiles than a trivet!
