Problems with two of the sixteen.
I have ordered 16 detectors to replace very old batteries in my house. Very easy to install, however 2 out of 16 were defective. Once installed, they "chirp". I replaced the factory battery with another new battery and the problem persisted. Defective detectors were installed in the bedroom and living room. We do not smoke and there was no burned food or smoke from other sources. Since people's lives can depend on them functioning properly, I would recommend anyone considering this product to spend a little more money and find a more reliable product.
