Everything about this step stool is great except one thing: it can tip over! We've had it for a few months and have always wondered if our 2 year old would be able to knock it down. And this morning she proved it by bending over to the side. Luckily I caught her before her head hit the ground. If it wasn't for me she would have hit hard! I can't stress enough how dangerous those bowel movements can be! While this chair is probably no better or worse than others, it is inherently unstable without modification. Either it needs to be mounted on a wide platform that extends well beyond the width of the unit, or it needs to be mounted in the rack somehow. I went the last way as you can see in my photos. This is by far the best option and 100% safe no matter how far your child leans. However, this is not a simple modification.
