Perfect shredder for my tiny office cupboard. I use it for sensitive documents like checks and documents with my credit card numbers. You have to rip them apart to get the pieces into the mill, but it doesn't matter. My only concern is that the lid is loose. You really need to hold it down, use tape or attach an elastic band to keep the lid from falling off during use. My 6 year old loves to "help" me by shredding my papers but I find myself holding them together so he can use them properly. Next time I'll attach rubber bands to the left and right of the slit so it can shred itself. Otherwise, it works much better than other hand choppers I've bought in the past, and the pieces aren't too wide (less than 1/4 inch).
