A purchase made at the start of the year 2022. Optimal for use as a tool. The system is incredibly reliable and effective. Excellent trade-off between efficiency, durability, and cost. Many Benefits, Each in Its Own Right This laptop is fantastic, especially considering the price. After Intel-powered laptops, you get a significant improvement in productivity, velocity, and silence. Whenever I need to do some serious work on the backend of a website in Java, this is the machine I turn to. The combination of idea, Docker, dbeaver, and Chrome has worked for me on occasion. Having to pick between the 8 and 16 Gb variants, I was pleasantly surprised to find that 8 Gb of RAM was sufficient. Minimal weight. A first-rate touchpad, indeed. After I became used to using a mouse, I stopped thinking about it. Not only does it not generate any heat, but the lack of a fan also makes it incredibly silent. The downside is that not all of the required software for m1 was released at once. Software has greatly improved in recent years; docker, for instance, consistently works now. An costly adapter () is required for use with a monitor that supports the HDMI standard for video output.
