My last set of reusable bags have nearly worn out after 5 years of heavy use. I replaced them with these mostly because the price was right for a large set. Also, I liked the colors offered.My first impression was that I didn’t like the fabric of these as much as my last set, it seems thicker. However, it’s not a fair comparison as the others had been washed many, many times. Also, if the fabric is heavier it may prove more durable.Here’s the thing that I’ve ended up loving about these bags: they have an elastic loop inside meant to hold them in a neat roll if I choose to tidy them away. I assumed I’d never use the elastic loop until I realized that if I pull both handles through the elastic loop it neatly closes the bag. No more apples or cans of beans rolling around my car! No more worrying that something may have escaped the bags with the intent of rotting in the trunk!So, now they’ve won me over. :)
