Information I would like to know. The internal thread of this handle is M10 1.5. The thread on the shift rod is M10 1.25. I have a 2013 Mazda 3. I ended up using an M10 1.25 thread to change the thread pitch, but anyone with thread experience knows this affects thread integrity, so I also put a T-tape on the stem threads glued and it works pretty well. No problems and fears that it will solve itself. I would also recommend Loctite for an even more permanent repair after rethreading the shift knob. Hope this helps someone.
