Review on Duofold Womens Wicking Thermal Leggings Sports & Fitness for Cycling by Rick Alexander

Smaller than expected

I am satisfied with the product because I am smaller than average. At 5ft 2ft and 110# they fit well for a size small on top and a size small on bottom. The material allows you to stretch it, so in this case it's good. The material has a light pattern and feels like cotton compared to some other base layers that are smoother, silkier or fleece-like. were too long (many inches). They were almost too short, going right up to the ankle, so might be a bit too short for those with a 29+ inseam - this might be desirable if you don't want your thermals sticking out from under your pants, but this can be a problem depending on the person and use. They are too bulky to be worn under streetwear like jeans or similar, but worn under "winter" clothing or whatever would be just right. I was happy to see that they didn't need to be remade or folded, but they would be "too short" for most people. Also, the thighs were tight. Admittedly, I don't have large hips, but this material was uncomfortably tight in the hips. I tugged at it and it stretched and got bigger so I was comfortable. I'm happy with this product because I'm an unusual size, but for an "average" height person, they would be too small. The small in "small" sizes is equivalent to a regular XS size (so a small S size top fits the body the same way as a regular XS size, but regular has longer arms and a slightly longer hip crotch). ). The small size in casual wear tends to be a little big for me and I can expect them to be too long on the arms/legs. This was a pleasant surprise for me, but could easily disappoint someone of "average" height. My suggestion: be prepared for the arms/legs to be slightly shorter and go up a size (if you usually order S, order M). For ladies under 5ft 3in they will most likely fit perfectly!
